Does the anonymity of the internet let people be who they really are and are you worried that so many people are racist and hateful?

Yes, I think people are less afraid of being themselves online than offline, so you get to see their freaky and worst sides more. I don't think that everyone behaves according to how they really are though. I'm sure some people get something out of acting completely different online. Some people pretend to be someone else just for fun or behave strange just to see people's reactions. So I wouldn't trust that what you see online 100% represents what people are really like.

Somewhat yes, it allows an increased anonymity, but it also allows others to "re-invent" and/or clone themselves. So one person can assume many identities and spread hate as if it were from a group. I'm hopeful that racism is dieing out on all sides.

I think the internet allows alot of people to let loose, but it also allows for alot of fakes. You never really know who you are talking to. As far as being worried, no, I'm not. I know their out there, here online, I just hear more of them.

Yes and would'nt you really want to see these people in real life and compare.........i would.....they hide behind the screen...as do i.............
