Does anybody know anything about white spiders? All white, not white tailed spiders, BTW. Are they poisonous and/or dangerous? Where do you find them? That sort of thing?
Thanks!

Thanks guys. They were in a dream I had, that made me need to find out if there was such a a thing and what they were. Just wasn't finding much about them on the 'net, because I didn't know what kind of spider it was.

Yes, there are white crab spiders that are often
found on flowers. There are other kinds in
various places. On the white sand of the Gulf
of Mexico in Florida, and possibly other states
there is a white wolf spider that is very common.
I believe there is also another in the southwest
African desert in Namibia, not a wolf spider,
probably a huntsman spider.

Not too sure about the dream, I don't do well at interpretation. White spiders, however, are considered good luck. They are thought to be a manifestation of the goddess. I have seen white spiders often after coming to an important decision regarding my life or even after simply discussing one possible solution. If I went with the solution just discussed it always ended up well.

virg-mack's correct in that it is quite possible that it is a crab spider.
But don't squish them!!
While most spiders are indeed venomous, in that they possess venom glands, very very few of those venomous spiders have a venom which is dangerous to humans. Even those that do have a dangerous venom would much rather bite something they can actually eat rather than a human, and will only bite if they are injured or provoked in some fashion.
Spiders are beneficial, and even the potentially dangerous ones like black widows and brown recluses do a lot more good for people than they do harm.
Crab spiders are less likely to harm people than a lot of other species - they tend to hang out in flowers waiting for bees, flies and other pollinators to land so they can grab 'em and eat 'em. Unless you're poking your finger into the flower, they won't have any reason to bite you.

We get them on our roses and peones somtimes. They are just there to catch the bugs. That is the only place we have ever seen them. They are called crab spiders. What exactly the spider is your asking about im not sure. Your best bet is to just look up spiders and look at a lot of pictures. I linked one site of pictures for you. There are a lot more though. Hope this helps, good luck! I like to squish spiders!

I just saw a white spider in my bathroom. I was washing something that was attached to the wall. When I saw it , I tried to hit at it but missed. He went down on the floor somewhere next to the bath tub. Now I see where they are good luck and not to kill them! I don't think I killed it. My zip code is 62040.

I just woke up from a dream where they were in it also. Believe it or not I had previously searched them, because I remember the images that came up in the search. I wonder if I have also dreamed of them before. It was such an odd dream.
