i need to do the following equation and draw it on a numberline and with algebraic notation. i need help finding key numbers first the equation is

(x + 2) / (x+5) < 1

Either:
x + 2 < x + 5 and x + 5 > 0
2 < 5 and x > -5 ...............(1)

or:
x + 2 > x + 5 and x + 5 < 0
2 > 5 and x < -5 ................(2)

(2) yields no solutions.
(1) yields x > -5.

multiply by x + 5 so nows its x+2 = x+5 then subtract 5 and add x to the other sides so now its 0=3 and the answer is no solution
