he probably thinks this song is about him ?
You walked in-to the party. . like you were walkin on-to a yacht
Your hat 'strategory' dipped. . be-low one eye
Your scarf it was a-pri-cot
You had one eye in the mirror. . as you watched your-self go by
And all the girls dreamed. . they'd be your partner. . they'd be your part-ner. . .and
You're so vain. . . you probably think this song is about you
You're so vain. . . I'll bet you think this song is about you. .don't you. .don't you !!
You had me several years a-go. . when I was still quite naive
Well you said that we made such a pretty pair. .and that you would never leave
But you gave a-way the things you loved. . and one of them was me
I had some dreams there was 'clouds in my coffee'. . 'clouds in my coffee, and
You're so vain. . . you probably think this song is about you. . . .. . . . ... . ... . . .
After so many people were outraged at Al's 'Carbon Footprint', Doncha think he should've announced major cutbacks in fuel use ?

I had some clouds in my coffee, and Al Gore said Folgers is contributing to global warming... If they've got clouds in their morning brew, they're not causing it, they are capitalizing off of it. Al Gore got back on his jet, went to his summer home, and turned on the air conditioning, b/c Folgers stole his idea of capitalizing off the fear of global warming....

I love it when ideologues fall back on shooting the messenger. It shows they have no genuine arguments to offer against the message itself.
It might suprise you to know that not only is Al Gore not perfect, but neither is Bill Clinton or George W. Bush. How does being human and fallible discredit the message you so want to ignore?
Corporatists like the Republicans oppose anything that might reduce profits, including conservation. Ironic, isn't it, when conservatives refuse to conserve?
When climate change kills their customer base, just who will your immortal and immoral corporations sell their products to? I bet that when the last blade of grass has withered and the last stream runs dry you and yours will be finding a way to blame the Democrats for declining sales.
As for the song you chose, I can only say it is very appropriate. The entire song is a diatribe accusing a former lover of vanity, performed and written by a narcissist or incredible proportions. Your hypocrisy mirrors hers.
Never mind Al Gore's energy footprint. The planet glows in the dark because we are burning it up. The firemen are here, and you complain because you don't like the colour of the hoses. Learn a lesson from the dinosaurs.

it's not his carbon footprint (because technically that is 0.. I'm sure most chemists would agree that it's a balanced equation).. it's his usage... so I guess it depends on what you think is important.. .. Al is using treatment (the carbon offsets) and is teaching prevention (the energy usage).... with good results coming from both.. but that is where the problem comes from.. we should all practice what we preach.
I play guitar.. so I assumed you got them on-line (seeing as how it's stocked full of lyrics and tabs).. and I am an auditory learner.. so I can quote word for word just about every song I've ever liked.... o.O

Al Gore al Hazred is vain.
I didn't. I can't learn lyrics well because my brain is set up to hear the music, but the words are meaningless, so I have to read the lyrics to be able to appreciate them with the music.

Warren Beatty plays Big Al in a Movie. How perfect. They have a great deal of similarities. Except Fat Albert has the tonnage.

Wellllll I hear you went up to saratoga and your horse naturally won.
Then you flew your lear jet up to Nova Scotia to see the total eclipse of the sun.
Welllll you're where you should be all the time; and when you're not you're with some underworld spy or the wife of a close friend -- wife of a close friend, and...
Love the song. Love the statement. Love the attitude. Carry on.

ROFLMAO. Why in the world do you know all the words to this song? Or most of the others you quote? Now I'm wondering what the THC part of your PhD stands for.

It could be vanity when you could probably write a song about that huge kiester of his. On letterman the other night they announced his as the largest @$$ since Taft.
