honnestly i agree with everyone but i truly feel bad for the kid he is kinda like william hung only william hung didnt get through...it is weird and awkward to watch him i have to look away because i am embarresd by his perfomances i hope he gets voted off it really isnt fair to mess with him

This guy is too weird. He should have been gone ages ago. Why is he still here? It could be for comic relief I suppose but come on....... This is a singing competition and this guy is no where near the talent of Lakesha and Melinda or Blake.

I think people are voting for him to make a mockery of the show!
Sanjaya Malakar, 17, is from Federal Way, WA. He auditioned in Seattle with his sister, who was eliminated at the Hollywood stage of the competition. Sanjaya says he started singing as a little boy and had formal singing training.
Sanjaya, who spent four years performing with the Hawaii Children Theater, claims he is a shy person and says "I'm scared that I'll never be able to walk into a supermarket without someone recognizing me." His music idol is Stevie Wonder.

He is too hilarious to be voted off at this time. This bizzare strategy is working for him! I bet no one could tell you what he sang or how he sang last night because they were so focused on that ridiculous hair. I actually thought his singing wasnt half bad last night to be honest. Phil and Chris R were pretty bad. Chris S had an off night, but I think he will pull through this week.

I don't watch the show, but it ran overtime a little and cut into House, so I saw the last 5 minutes when they showed recaps and I think I was still at his hair by the end of house.
