A blog is a shorten term for the internet jargon of [ web log ].
Possibly the easiest way to describe a web log is an online diary where you can post views, for others to read and comment on.
It is a form of communication and creating an online social network.
There are many sites out there, all based on different target audiences. For example a recent poll showed:

"Blog" stands for "Weblog". It's an internet journal that you can write your daily feelings in, and people can see it. So if you want your true love's name to be known, use a blog.
