I have a question for anyone girls or guys that i have been wondering about for a while. i hvae liked this girl for a while and she knows i like her, and she likes me as a friend but whenever i try to be nice and everything it seems everything just falls apart.
so i was wondering what do girls like - do they like guys who are sensitive and doesnt care about talking about there feelings becuase i ask some of my friends who are girls and they say yea girls like talking about that stuff
but then when i ask my guy friends they say being more cocky and funny and stuff like that is what girls like
so which is it ?

I think it depends on the girl, what she's attracted to. I personally am attracted to sweet guys who do things for no reason and are the typical "Nice Guy" while my sister goes for the guys who are cocky, ignore her, and are all around not the best guys there are in the world. Try both. I would find out which she is attracted to and go in that direction. I know you like this girl but if she doesn't appreciate you, you should wait for someone who does!

Depends what age group if you are a young man trying to hook up with a young girl then dont be sensitive, be nice but not sensitive, girls around this age like bad boys
If you are in your mid 20's to late 20's then yes be funny, witty and nice but not cocky. Cocky is a turn off, there is a difference between having a good self esteem and being cocky.

If you've known this girl for awhile then it may be that she just doesn't see you as boyfriend potential. You need to give her something that will radically change her view of you; you might be that nice gentle type who is sometimes a bit overly shy, but you can also be a sweet sensitive guy who knows more than one way to get his point across.
Now don't take this as an invitation to well, outright harass her, but you can make your feelings crystal clear with one last assertive conversation. Even if it turns out that she doesn't see you in that way at all, you'll both be ok with it and you won't have anything to hide so you'll be less tongue tied around her allowing you both to develop your relationship as friends.
She might even come running to one day with a declaration of her own once she finds out what a great guy you can be.

Honest opinion? Girls like guys who give them attention sure! Yes, most guys go about this by actting all funny and in your face.
But, personnel opinion? We fall inlove with the guys who talk to us...like we are people...not things. The guys who not only can talk about our feelings but, care what we have to say. Wow...that is a MAN.

I am a 25 year old woman and I like guys that are funny and confident. I really don't like men that are shy. I like me that I'm not sure if I can get with. But I will try. Both guys and girls like a challenge. Act uninterested for a while and watch her reaction.

Well, being a girl I love a guy who is willing to listen to me cry and be there for me, caring about me a lot. I love it when a guy can actually cry himself and express it to me other then "taking it like a man" because thats cocky, and i hate it! Guys should cry to, and im the type that likes to be there for my friends. But you should deeply care about her, trust me i just broke up with someone because he didnt care about me at ALL!!!

You can't be all things for all people so be yourself.Each girl is different and wants different things in relationships.If you know what you want in a relationship then you will know the girl you want when you meet her and as long as who you represent yourself to be you are then you have nothing to fear.Being who you are assures you of having the girl in your life who wants you for you and not for some image you may have to keep up.

Yes, there are certain things that girls like in a guy, but if she's just not that into you, it's not going to happen, regardless if you do everything right. You either do it for her or you don't. Just be yourself and you'll find the right girl for you. :)

a girl wants you to be yourself so she doesn't get any unexpected behaviors later. Talk about your interests, she can compare hers to yours. And, not all jokes are funny. Just make her laugh by doing it on accident or along with a subject. Don't over do it either.
