Resume Paper
When sending paper resumes and cover letters, choose good quality resume paper in a traditional color - white, ivory, or off-white is most appropriate. When you are sending resumes that will be scanned, use plain white computer paper.

Resume paper, white, off white, grey or tan. It makes an impression and says that you still care in this day and age when a lot of other people don't care. A first impression is still a first impression - I have 25 years of experience, and I would still do it, so I'm not making up for a lack of experience.

Tasteful resume paper. Plain white paper (copier paper) is a no-no.
In essence, a resume is a representation of you in paper form. Make your best impression! :-)

plain paper. The last time that i talked to a career counselor (which was a couple of months ago) she said go plain, resume paper makes it look like you are trying to compensate for not having the best skills, record, etc.
