I travel a lot between UK and Spain, I always work on 1.5 Euros to the pound, its easier to work out, so unless you have a good few thousand to change the differene isnt worth bothering about is it?
You will get the same exchange rate where ever you exchange, within a couple of pennys, not worth searching.

This question crops up time and time again, and as usual people go onto the net for exchange rates, and finish up with BUSINESS rates (e.g.€1.4825 to £1) You will not get it ! Look up tourist exchange rates. Today 28th Mar. it is €1.407 to £1. Bank or Post Office the best bet (and it's free).
Hope this information is useful to you, even though you aren't as Euro rich as you first thought
