...and you measure everything out perfectly, turn it on, and then come back a couple of mintues later to find that you have less than one cup of coffee? What's up with that?

Actually, I hate it more when my husband has placed the filter basket in the dishwasher - and since I couldn't be bothered paying attention, I out a coffee filter and coffee in and wind up with mucky water and grounds all over the damn place.

Your filter collapsed and coffee is about to overflow.

Coffee grinds clogging the hole.

The filter part of your machine is probably plugged, happened to me the other day.
