i forgot to take my pill for about a week,(personal reasons) had intercourse,i ve missed my period its about a week now.took a home pregnancy test,came out negative.had symptoms like,menstual cramps,spotting but no period, can i be pregnant?

You can if you had sex on the days that you were most fertile.
If you missed a period for a week now it could be anything from stress related, to just a irregular period.
Although the symptoms you have are ones related to pregnancy, I had the same thing before i found out I was pregnant. In fact as soon as I got pregnant I just knew, I had menstrual like cramps too.
The spotting you have also could be implantation bleeding, which happens As the embryo burrows into the uterine lining and attaches itself to the maternal circulatory system, some maternal blood is released. Not everyone has this spotting, but a few does.
If your period is overdue for a week now, then you would be safe to take a test and for it to show up Positive if you are. Everyday your HG levels go up, so if you really think you are then just go get a home pregnancy test.

If you've missed your period for about a week now, a home pregnancy test should tell u the right answer. However sometimes I hear they don't work as well, so if you want a peace of mind, get a test done at your doctor's office.
It's really not necessary that you're pregnant right now because you just got off your pills, your cycle may not be back to the usual timing and symptoms.
The answer could be either or, and you deserve a peace of mind, so just take a test as soon as you can.

It is possible but all things are possible you could be pregnant and then again by you missing a week of your pills it could have thrown your cycle off. I was off of birth control 7 months before I conceived. I thinks really it depends on how long you have been taken the pills. maybe or maybe not. Good Luck

It's possible; a home preg. test doesn't usually work until about 2 weeks after you ovulate, so it may be too early to tell.

yes. Give it another couple of days and take another test. and until you find out stop taking your pill now and don't have intercourse until you find out.

just be calm and take another preg test in hospital... dont crib.... u might had safe sex b4, instead of cribbing now....
