nobody's perfect, so there will be faults in every one you see, but a true friend will...

make you laugh
accept you for you
when you act crazy, she wont diss, just act even crazier
be there when you need her

but you will also need to be there for her
make her laugh
accept her for her
when she acts crazy, dont diss, just act crazier

be a friend, get a friend
peace!

I think a real friend should be:
a) we can share our problems with him/her, and him/her can give us advice that we need, or problem solvings, etc
b) he/she can keep our secret, and he/she would not tell to anyone
c) Real friend is friend forever, he/she will not forget you when there is something make you and he/she separated for a long time (like, when graduated from high school, you want to continue your study in other country, and same as him/her, but the time you meet he/she, he/she will always remember you)
d) He/she never leave you when you was alone, or need a sharing friend, or need someone to be your shoulder to cry on
e) He/she knows you well
f) Usually, real friend is a friend, that won't make you trapped into something wrong. If he/she invite you to do something bad, that is not best friend but "beast friend"
g) A real friend not mean he/she bind you! E.g: my friend has a best friends, named it A & B. B is the best friend of A, if B want to hang out anywhere, A must follow him/her, if A dont want it, B get angry. That is a wrong example. People like this can't be a real friend.
h) Real friend wont eat you!

I think thats all. Sorry if my English is not good! Hehehehe.
I write that all because I have experience bout it! Bye, thanks

My friends are fun to hang out with but also so much more. When I have had problems in the past some of them took action on my behalf without me asking. I've been angry and yelled at them and they at me and it is soon forgiven and forgotten. I can sit and talk with them for hours and even more important, I can sit and not talk to them. I know that seems funny but I have learned that when you are completely comfortable with someone you can sit alone with them and not worry about talking. When you are uncomfortable with someone you feel the need to talk about something, anything.
I can look at them and they know what I'm thinking when I can't say anything. I can be myself completely without worrying about being judged. I don't have to dress or act a certain way to impress them. They take me as I am and all the baggage that comes with me...and I do them also. And when I ask...does this look bad on me?...they say yes and then suggest what I should wear!

A friend is, first and foremost, a human being. I would say that a person who loves you, even with your faults, is one half of the relationship. The other half is that you can live with their faults and love them back. An ideal friendship is a little like a beautiful home. No matter how many statues and fountains you put in it, it absolutely must rest on that very unglamorous foundation of concrete and exposed beams.

You can count your friends with one hand.
A friend will always be there for you in good time but specially bad ones. Will lend you a hand any time you need one. Will not questions your actions just understand them. Will help you to grow in any field. Will never pass the bill for thing that she or he did fro you. Will not agree with you all the time just to make you happy but because you were right.
I think that you can said that you know a lot of people but only a few friends.

I have strong feelings on this one. I consider myself a good friend, and seem to get dumped on all the time.
This is what i offer people i care about, and what i hope they give back to me:
1. always there for you... even if it is 3 am!
2. like you for who you are.... including accepting your faults.
3. think of you in big ways and small....like picking up something small when out shopping... just a way to say "I'm thinking of you".
4. helping you when you need it the most... not abandoning you like most of the people around.
5. doing things with/for you because i want to help, not because i want something in return.

Most important: treating you how i want to be treated!!

an ideal frined, is the one you might talk with and share some life experiences with them. a real friend, should already sense whats wrong and shouldnt need explaining how you felt in your past, because, they were always there.

Someone who accepts you for who you truly are, warts and all, and loves you in spite of those warts, whose there for you whenever you need, but isn't afraid to tell you the truth, even if it isn't something you want to hear. Including when you're being as a**.

Interesting question. You obviously are questioning the nature of a friend of yours. Something about somebody makes you uncomfortable. Friends do not make their friends feel uncomfortable. Friends make friends feel comfortable and that is why you seek them out for company. My rule of thumb is if somebody makes me feel uncomfortable I do not seek their company.
