Don't know if you have heard about this but Ken Livingstone is planning to use tax payer's money to build an enormous mosque costing an estimated 100M in the docklands. What do you think about it?

Wouldn't it be better to spend the money on a new hospital or improved transportfacilities??

This should be taken from the tithing that the Muslim people give, not from tax-payer money from everyone.

Why not return the taxpayers money to the taxpayers.

If he builds a mosque I will send hate mail just like I sent hate mail to the mosques in Birmingham and Manchester.

with the amount of money he is raking out of the Congestion Charge alone he could build a mosque a month and still have enough left over for a few schools and hospitals!

I'm not a Brit. But as an American, I am obviously against the government using tax money to fund ANY religious undertaking.

if your going to build one why does it cost that much it's ridiculous what is he going to do house people in there as well i wouldn't mine as much if it didn't cost that much like 1 million but 100 million London needs more important things and i would feel the same way about a Church being built that cost that much.
does a hospital cost that much to build?
