Don't get me wrong, I am quite content with my life but last year I swopped my old banger for a newer car, the best I could afford, which I was very proud of . A few weeks later I returned from a trip away to find my neighbour had bought a newer, shinier version of my car. I was absolutely livid and thought about getting rid of mine or sarbotaging theirs so they'll get rid of it...well I did come to my senses and went over and told them what good taste they had...it made me feel not so angry

No. We have two neighbours who do that and we find it very funny watching them. One of them has just bought a new car so we're waiting with bated breath to see how long it takes for the others to go out and buy a new car.

No I don't give a sh1t what anyone else has got, I'm not into showing off.
i like nice stuff but for my own enjoyment rather than for the benefit of anyone else.
What has made you feel this way? Is it advertising? Aspirational tv? Whatever it is you don't need it, it's cr@p
