Has any one made money with Google?

Has anyone made money with Google Adwords or Google AdSense?
I've tried two programs now; one said people were making a $1000 a day but so far I haven't made a penny! With Google AdWords I also lost money due to the fees charged per click.

I don't know anyone who makes $1000 a day. But yes, I know one who makes an average $200/day and another who averages $150/day. I HAVE seen the checks!
To make money through Google Adsense you need the following:
1. A web site with good content - you can always build one. A site with "functional" content (as I would like to call it) would automatically get inbound links and thus rank high (over a period of time)
2. Lot of traffic to your web site - which you will get if you develop meaningful content on your web site
3. Focus on an industry that is competitive and develop content fot that.

Remember - ethical Adsense earnings are always possible!

I've made a little money with these, I'm working on making more.

AdSense is easier because it's free, you just put up the Google code so ads are displayed on your site, and then just put good content up on your site so that Google can scan it and send relevant advertising which (hopefully) people will click on.

To make big money you'd need to do some serious blogging or other activities that involve having a large amount of content up on the web. The more stuff up, the more exposure your ads will receive, and hopefully the more money you'll earn.

Create a website about something that you know a lot about (recipes, how to fix a car, photography, stamp collecting...). Then you can make money by running some ads on the site. Here is a guide to getting started with Google- http://www.richkahmer.com/make-money-online.html

No, personally I think that's just a bunch of lies. If everyone made 1000 dollars a day, Google would be out of business in a matter of weeks.
