i think about this rich country, the unlimited resources, the kind people, a beautiful paradise, nature, animals( specially tigers), rain in the summer(i don't see that in my country)...
on the other hand i really feel sad when i read about the pollution there, there are some serious issues concerning that...
there is the HIV virus, TB, leprosy, and other diseases that are spreading really fast among the population :(
anyway, it's a positive nice feeling after all
when hear the word INDIA :)

East or west India is the best. Even other countries are also saying the same thing. I feel very proud to born in India. India is a Heritage country, if U see education, marriages and etc will be followed according to some elders rules.
Even other countries are following our marriage rules. Here no one bothers what U are doing. They will be in their own business/work. In other countries in each every place U will find 5-6 Police vans. In India if other person lost his passport he can settle. But if we lost Passport in other countries police will definetely arrest the loosers..
I feel the people India are very good, very broad minded, very innocent. It's great to be here..

Krupa, are you not in India?? India is the country of Dharma and spiritual centre for whole world. The truth, beauty and culture prevail in India. You know, geogrpahically Kashmir to Kanyakumari, though many states and Union territories, with many languages and different of class, clans and many land and water oriented living poeople stick to one culture and community living of one Bharat Mata for their worshipping diety as mother. Hope, those who are blessed are born in this country and became famous and India is land of Rishi Parampara and Guru to all followers of the world.

India, otherwise called Bharath, is such a beautiful land on Earth that People long to visit atleast once in their life time and see the Beauty of India in Unity in Diversity and feel the Spirit of India.
It is a blessed land .So many legendary figures lived here.
God in the human form of Lord Sree Rama and Sree Krishna walked on this very soil and made it sacred.
The Rishis like Valmiki,Vyaas Bhagavan,Vashishta,Yaagna valka,Viswamitra,Janaka (the king),Agasthya,Brugu,...to name a few lived here and did great penance for the good of all living beings.
There are sacred Rivers Ganges,Krishna,Kaveri,Godavari,saraswati,Yamuna, Tunga and Badra ..to name a few flow with reverbarating music with all the Indian Culture and sacredness.
there are beautiful temples, monumental, sacred and with a capacity to calm your confused mind and make you relaxed and bless you.There are templs at Mount Kedarnath,Badrinath,Vaishno devi,,Kasi(Varanasi),Somanath, Rameswaram,Tirupati,Udipi,Mantralayam,sriranga Patnam spread all over India.....to make one understand how rich spirutually India Is.
There are saints and sages.,who are always working silently for the good of humanity.
coming to cultural heritage what can one say.The Hinduism , despite being bombarded several times through invasions from outside India, Still is ALIVE WITH SAME VIGOUR AND VITALITY AND WISDOM.
we are seing people from affluent countries, after living some 40 or 50 years and realising that there is some thing more in life than mere enjoyment and turning towards India for mental peace .the exodus started already.
The Great Indians gave the world the concept of '' ZERO''.
The astrologers of India have been able to see the planets weight and rotation and could develop a science called Astrology , which tells us what future holds for you , if the Astrologer is really talented and intuitive.
The Induan master weavers have woven a saree that could put in a match box.
They created master pieces with Stone and metals .they excelled in astronomy as well.
Beyond all these India is a VEDIC LAND.There are four vedas .they contain all the wisdom of divine and also teach how a person shold lead a life morally.Maha Bharath,Ramayan,Bhagavath Geeta,Brahma Sutras,Maha Bhagavatam after the Vedas are so important that after ages they are stil live and EVERY INDIAN KNOWS ATLEST SOME THING ABOUT THESE EPICS.they are so effective and became a part and parcel of life of Indians.
There may be poverty in India.But that was not the fault of Indians.All foreign countries, which had an eye on the natural rich resourses of this Holy Land invaded time and again and looted the Riches.They polluted the clear atmosphere with their selfish motives.Even then inspite of all this INDIA IS RICH in RESOURSES,CULTURE and WISDOM.
The educated youth of India are showing their brilliance in IT wing in Sophisticated ,advanced , affluent countries.
Indian marriage system, which attracted the foreigners even, is intact and is THE BEST IN THE WORLD.
In all the sciences India made its contribution, a major contribution.
please remember INDIA NEVER SENT ANY EMISSARY TO ANY LAND for SPIRUTUAL PROPADANDA.
Hinduism,when understood in true spirit, is the Religion of the world , as teaches how to live and let live.It declares that EVERY THING THAT WAS CREATED IS DIVINE.EVERY BODY IS GOD .It taught the way to realise this truth .Many masters realised and blessed the land and us all.

i think india is just a better country if u compare it with developing countires but if hurts when i compare it with developed countries. i dont find any reason to call it GREAT.
it is just a simple country with cocktail of good and bad things. some cool, honest, responsive, altruists AND some selfish, money-minded, corrupted and irresponsive people.
it has great places but most of them have lost their charm because of thousand reasons.
almost everybody boast of greatness but nobody bothers about the fear of losing it, and alas ! we have lost so much.
the first thing that comes to my mind when i think about india is -- a crowd of frustrated people (mainly youths) walking in scorching sunlight .... in search of dreams.. dreams of great job, family and piece.
second comes selfish politician making fool of docile public by giving a speech.
then comes poverty and illeteracy.
and finally himalaya.... a lot of snow and yellow sunlight..

Too crowded, low importance placed on the lives of females, very unsanitary in some towns, annoying Indian boys that need to stay away from computers.
On the flip side - beautiful wedding ceremonies (for those who can afford it), some intelligent people (I have worked with many doctors that are from India), Hinduism.

What comes to my mind..?...well our Tricolour, the Taj Mahal,the Father of our Nation-Mahatma Gandhi,our Nobel laureates...Rabindranath Tagore, C.V.Raman, Amartya Sen, Mother Teresa;our learned President A.P.J .Abdul Kalam,our classical dances and music, our colourful festivals, our IT industry,our film industry and our democracy.
" Mera Bharat Mahan"....we have to strive to reach the goal of making India proud of her citizens.
