I would think owning a hotel would be easier than owning a restaurant. With restaurants, you have permits, health department regulations, customer satisfaction, competition, employee relations and opportunity for theft.

In a hotel, you have permits, employees that manage the desk and unruly guests including the ones that leave the rooms in disgusting conditions.
