This is one of the best questions ever asked, and one I'd like to know the answer to.
Shear laziness?

I'm not sure, but it annoys me! Little things tell an awful lot about people and not taking the time to check your spelling - especially with spell check available - show signs of laziness. Now, I better double check my spelling after that rant to make sure I didn't miss something!!!!!

Some people don't realize that there is a spell check option available and others choose not to even bother utilizing such a valuable tool.

I didn't realize there was spell check, I suppose I'm not very observant. I probably will now, but I try to be careful.

They probably think they are too good to use spell check and think that they're so smart and are amazing at spelling

I ask this same question a while back. I was told : Some are to lacey and some do it to be phunny. Also some do it to get your attention. But I still think most are just computer stewped. LOL.
If they would just stop and thimk.

Now this is an easy one.
If they can't spell .... then how can they find "Check Spelling" in the top right hand corner.

Well, not only can they not spell but because they can't read either (e.g. the words "Check Spelling").

maybe they just forget or don't realise that there is a spell check..
