For this summer I want to get a great tan, but Im worried about the affects of actually tanning in the sun. Is there ANY sun screen I can wear to prevent skin cancer or anything when I tan? Or is the fake tans my best bet? If I should use a fake tan, what would be the best sunless tanner that's reasonably priced, and easy to use?

You could use jan tana's sunless tunning lotion and it's seems pretty cheap you'd be better getting other sunless lotions online sometimes it cheaper. but sometimes they trick you. Like when it comes to games all games are 19.99 online but if you go to the store they are only like 10 dollars but just do your research before buying.

Even if you wear sunscreen, it's still not a sure guarantee that it'll prevent skin cancer. But if you do tan outdoors, make sure that you wear a sunscreen that has an spf of at least 30 if you're afraid of getting skin cancer. The higher the spf of a sunscreen, the better it does of protecting your skin against UV rays, you'll still get a decent tan. Also, make sure you use a sunscreen on your face. They do make sunscreen specially for faces, I think that the brand my family uses is Banana Boat. If you do want to do a fake tan, you can always do the mystic tans (the spray on ones) but make sure you wash your hands really well afterwards because I knew this girl who got those done a lot and never washed her hands afterwards... Her hands were kind of orange-ish. If you don't want to do a mystic tan, there are tons of sunless tanners out there. I know that Neutrogena and Avon are reasonably priced. I did just buy this lotion from Bath & Body Works that has a sunless tanner already in it. It gradually changes your skin color instead of just instantly making you tan. The line is called "Breathe" and they have different scents so you're not just stuck with one smell. My favorite is "Breathe: Romance".

Definitely use some sunless tanner. I use bath and body works' "strike gold". It has a bronzer so you can see where you are rubbing it in for an even tan.
