my daughter is 11 months and is just now getting her FIRST tooth.. I always cook some of those sliced carrots and cut them in Fours or cut green beans into peas size pieces. Mashed potatos and Baked potatoes.. pancakes or french toast and syrup...the yellow part of an egg (boiled) smashed peas, soft oatmeal cookes... just pretty much soft stuff... at this age she should try using her gums to mash her foods.

Pretty much any food you can think of can be mashed, chopped, or crushed into a consistency that a child without teeth can handle!
DAIRY: Yogurt (mixed with baby cereal for texture). Soft cheeses. Ice cream.
PROTEIN: Tofu or very finely shredded and well-cooked meat. Peanut butter. Scrambled eggs.
FRUITS AND VEGGIES: Anything soft or well-cooked, really! Berries, melon, etc, avoid apples/pears or harder fruits for now.
CARBS: Mashed sweet potato. Bread (minus crusts), add jam or peanut butter (or apple butter, mmmm) for extra flavor and nutrition. Teething biscuits (she'll sort of suck on them until they become mush, then she'll chew that). Spaghetti is fun to play with AND eat (avoid tomato sauce unless you want it all over everything)!

Well if you are sure that she does not have any food allergies then anything that you can mash up well with your fingers or fork. But remember an allergy will not show up til the child is exposed to it twice.. like say peanut butter..the 1st time they ate it they were fine and the second time they may break out or hives may appear and possibly breathing problems could occur as well. This goes with medications as well. This happened to my son with amoxacillin. So always note what you are feeding her and watch. This is why they recommend waiting for table food and milk products til they are at least a year old. Good luck.

Bananas are great & so are other fruits like peaches, plumbs etc. Steam basically any vegetable and them coarsely mash it. I make my own that way and then freeze it in ice cube trays. I use squash, green beans, carrots, broccoli, greens, etc. Just make sure the pieces are small enough so she can't choke. Variety is the spice of life and she will let you know what she doesn't like.

You can use a baby food grinder to mash up pretty much anything. Babies like to eat what everyone else is eating, so putting a nice mix of what everyone is eating in the grinder, turning the crank and dumping out the resulting goo is exciting for them. Leave out the wasabi.

the quantity of tooth she has would not count. My son grow to be off infant nutrition and table nutrition via 9 months with 0 tooth. babies gum their nutrition. My son gagged on 'point 3' besides. He hated 'lumpy purees'. Went suitable from purees to finished on table nutrition.

At 8 mos, I would limit table foods. Stick with pureed baby foods. Don't fill the belly with salt and sugar... You can make your own, mash steamed carrots, peas, bannana's, applesauce.

You can give her soft foods like bannana's or pancakes and french toast. Most anything soft the baby should beable to handle without teeth.

Everyone is different in this area(because ther are so many food allergies) but I fed my daughter spaghetti, pancakes, mac n cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, jello anything soft!! but she was not allergic to anything and chewed sooo wellll!

You could give her just about anything. Just stick it in a food processor for a sec and mush it up a little bit first.
Any baby food you see at the grocery store would be something you could do yourself.
