You can get EC over the counter at your local family planning center such as Planned Parenthood if you are over 18. You do not need a prescription to purchase it at a pharmacy in 9 states (California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, New Mexico, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermont), as long as you are 18. Only in these states can you purchase it over the counter at your local pharmacy. My suggestion to you is find the closest Planned Parenthood or other family planning center. If you are under 18, you can go to your health care provider and get a prescription.
