Myspace is completely free. I don't know of any viruses, but I know that a few of my friends have gotten their accounts hacked, and the hacker usually posts either a.) Advertising bulletins *like for ringtones* or b.) really disturbing pornographic ones. I have had a Myspace for a year and a half, and haven't gotten hacked.

MySpace is free, and never got any viruses off it because
1) MySpace is now owned by NEWS CORP.... the same company that owns SKY DIGITAL Satelite, The Sunday Times, The Sun, The News of the World, The Times, The New York Post, the Fox TV network, 20th Century Fox film studios + much more.
2) I have proper Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware + ZONEALARM Firewall installed on my PC
3) I don't click on any dodgy looking links on other people's MySpace profiles.

Yes MySpace is free. Haven't gotten any viruses, I think it's pretty easy not to. Just don't open attachments or click on links that look suspicious (i.e. those offering free cameras or ipods just by clicking)

Myspace is free but there is still a price. I work at home on the computer and take classes at school. I am on the computer from 8am until 3pm. Everytime I log off I have maybe two tracking bugs when I run adaware and nothing when I run spybot. When my wife and daughter come home they both get on myspace and before I go to bed at 11pm. There will be at least 40 tracking bugs and 15 alerts from spybot. So if you have neither of these I suggest you get them or constantly clean your computer. It will get bogged down.

Myspace is free as for virus I know some people that have. Just dont click on any links..etc from anyone you dont know.

Myspace is free. However it sucks. It's always having problems and it's really easy for people to hack into your account. I recommend facebook instead.

Yes it is free and i got a virus from it one time. It popped up and said something like i needed to click on something to view the profile and it downloaded a Trojan horse, so its very easy to avoid it.
