I feel like I've been runned off the size scale. I should not have to step out my doors and fear running into an 8 y/o kid wearing the same outfit that I am.

I've only been able to find one set of pants in a 000 years ago. I recently got pants 00 from Express, they are too big. I'm sure those of you who are a real size 0 are having the same problem I do.

This new marketing strategy of putting a smaller label # on larger size clothes to appeal to bigger people sucks big time. I feel that those of us who are extra small to the 3rd power, are being left without clothes. I am going to be 40 in Nov. and tired of shopping in the kids section.

But I can't find clothes anywhere in Philly. And I haven't had much luck at all on the internet either.

I am able to fit pants in the thigh/leg section fairly well, but I'm kind of narrow in the hips and have a very small waist.

Is there any store online that you have been lucky to find?

I'm 5'4"; 92lbs.

Ladies,
thank you for the good, the bad, and the very ugly advice. Regardless of what you said or how you said it, i appreciate your thoughts.

however, what is going on with us? i felt a few cat claws in my bony back from a few.

i guess i should clarify the fact that i don't have an eating disorder. i have a ridiculously fast metabolism that has not slowed down. if you think about it, i'm almost 40, i've already tried the eating a lot of whatever trick.

what many people are not aware of, is that there are people out there who just can't gain weight. not done on purpose, just the way it is.

and yes i have a dr. i am very much aware of my condition, and i have to monitor my weight in the same way someone that is loosing weight does.

ladies, calling someone a stick isn't nice. doesn't bother me, but there are girls out there who may be dealing with the same thing i am. why make fun at them.

but, back to the sizes. thank you all for your help.

Hi tx,
Sizes differ from brand to brand. Express sizes run large.

You will have much better luck shopping the Internet at a store's web page as opposed to at the stores physical shop itself. For some reason stores don't often stock theirs 00's in the shops but they do have them available to purchase from their web sites.

I've had great luck with with 00's at Banana Republic, J Crew, Ann Taylor, and Bebe's.
Good Luck!

"You don't sound very healthy. I'd try gaining weight to find the size you want. Have you seen your doctor? You should."

This person and others said it well. Normal weight for you should be 120-150 for your height of 5'4. The average American wears a size 12, not a 0, 00 or 000! I didnt think there were sizes smaller than zero and if there was, wouldnt it be minus sizes(opposite of plus size)

See a doctor, he will tell you what to eat and how to gain weight to a healthy level. Then you can wear normal cloth like everyone else.

Delia's has 0 and 00.

You may want to look for a good tailor in your area who can take the waist in for you, if you can't find any pants in stores that fit right. Or you could try looking for your waist measurement (like mine is 26 in.) instead of a 0 or 00.

I kinda know how you feel. I have a hard time finding pants that are long enough. I know it's not exactly the same, but I feel your hurt. Haha.

There is a store called 5-7-9 that has a lot of cute clothes in those sizes. I shop there for my 12 year old sister.

Check stores such as Forever 21, Abercrombie, Hollister, 5-7-9, H&M. Clothes in Express, Limited and Old Navy run rather big, so even a size 0 will be too big for you. Good luck!

Most stores have smaller sizes online. I work at American Eagle and they have a 00 which is really small. I've seen a few that come as returns. Usuaully takes about a week to get to your home. Good luck finding jeans!!!

yea, you are kinda, not what you should be, i mean... I know your situation, i myself, wear small sizes, but I menage, to find, shirts and pants a lot of times, that fit me perfectley, even though I should gain. I am 5'1 and 99lbs, so I'm a little, bit bigger than you, though very skinny too.

get your clothes altered. seems we can't make everyone happy all the time, big surprise.....but for real 000? that sounds crazy. might as well be in the negative numbers... haha. "what size are you?", " -3". that just sounds funny. This is coming from an average size 13 gal. =)
