That's an interesting question. What do you like in pet area? Do you have allergies? Do you want one that has up keep ( note: they all do in some area or another) The best pet for you is what will be accepted where you live, you didn't say if allow animals or not! Just sit down for a moment when you have the time and go over the situation (liveing area) etc. How much time would you be able to devote to the pet. Pets do, in my opinion, become part of your family. The best pet is what is best for you, no one can really answer that but you. Think about it. List all the pros and cons in your situation and make your decision. All pets are wonderful. They don't ask where you been, etc. They always greet you with love and anticipation which makes on feel much better no matter how your day went. Be careful on choice because what is one good pet for me may not be the one that's right for you. Good Luck and I hope you get one that you will truely love and enjoyl

a dog - a chow - they are gorgeous dogs and are fiercely loyal and protective. They are laid back, don't bark much at all, They are intelligent and can learn about anything you teach them. While my wife was alive, I taught my chow, now over 14 years old FIND MOMMY - and she'd search all over the house until she found her. You also want a dog that will live a while. Don't get a golden retriever, the average life span is 7-8 years old. Find a dog that lives longer. Smaller dogs live longer than larger dogs in general But the average life span of a chow is 13.5 years. A lot of it has to do with how much you exercise the dog. Most dogs don't get enough exercise just like the people they are attached to.

Everyone will tell you something different. I have a friend who has iguanas and he'd tell you iguanas are the best pet. Oh he forgot to tell you all his trips to the ER ....

My dog had a few interactions with the UPS man but other than that she's been very friendly - everyone comments how pretty she is. She is a beautiful red color.

so that's my answer a RED CHOW.

I have had a lot of pets in my life. And I would have to say that the best pet I ever had, was the pig that I had back when I lived on a farm. He was so loving and loyal and fun. I sure do miss him.

If you are not willing to do much with it - a single fish. If you get a lot of fish, you have to clean them. A hamster makes skweaky noises. Cats are low maintenance but they don't always want to cuddle when you do. A little dog for an apartment. A big dog if you are willing to walk. Dogs are like human beings - they require lots of immunizations and attention. It really depends on what you are looking for in a pet and how much time and money you are willing to spend.

The best pet is a rescued pet. Your local shelter is full of little sweethearts who need a home and lots of love and will be eternally grateful to you... a lifelong friend.

I have had 2 siamese tom cats for 16 years and they are just beautiful, but then right at the other end of the scale I now have a hamster. Smaller, lives alot less but i adore him just as much. so i would say cats or hamsters, but all animals have different pesonalities, and bring a family home alot of joy, whether its something as big as a dog or cat, to something small like a rabbit or hamster.

that depends on what you want and how bussy you are through the day. If you are home alot then I would say a small in side dog. If you are gone alot then I would say a bird. I have a cockatil and he is easy to take care of, and keeps me company when I am home

That actually depends on the person. For me its dogs I have ms and having them keeps me going. Even when I do not feel like getting out for a walk I still go because I know they need their walks.
