The only way to get that information is from a Realtor or an appraiser. The court house will not have the dollar amount the home sold for. They will have that it sold recently though. Find a Realtor to help you out. Good Luck.

I am an appraiser servicing Nassau, Suffolk and Queens. we use data companies that get info on all homes sold in area. My suggestions is to speak with a realtor in your area and they can run a comp search and show you. Zillow.com may have some comps in your area as well. If you know any properties that have sold with a tax map number then you should go to Suffolk County Real Property (Riverhead) and request the deed (it will show you how much it sold for. I've tried it by typing the entire address in google and it comes up with property info. I did this a while ago and found out all types of info. How much the house sold for and so on... It was Free too.

go to the county The county the property is in) assessors website, do a property search. you will need the address of the property.
