Just laugh about it. If you show embarrassment, it tends to rub off onto others. If you just laugh at yourself, it shows people your complete acceptance of yourself, embarrassing moments and all, and it lightens the mood of everyone else around. Chances are, people who saw you aren't thinking any differently about you. Were you, when you experienced someone elses embarrassing moment? Usually people just feel mortified for the other person, because of what they just had happen to themselves. But if you lighten the mood about it by just laughing, it makes it a more positive experience to have to deal with. You can't go wrong with laughter.

That is really difficult.
Some people can just switch it off or let nobody know they actually are, but when you get embarrassed a lot it takes time and real effort to purge it out of your system.
The key is; realising there is nothing to be embarrassed about! Constantly remind your self before and during situations you get really embarrassed in that, you are you, you make the choices you make because you are an individual and nobody can change that.

You can realize that there is no need for being embarrassed. What you do and how you react are a part of you, thus your actions make up who you are. Being embarrassed is like saying you regret being you.

Yes. Be ignorant and have no soul.
I'm sure that George W. Bush doesn't get embarrassed. For that matter, neither does Bill Clinton...
