It is really hard to say, experts seem to have trouble pinning him down, some say he was Christian, some say he was atheist, some say he was into Mysticism, he even had an Islamic Mufti for his top adviser, so some even say he was Muslim, and others say he was Jewish. One thing we can say for certain he was one of the top violators of the ten commandments, and therefore he wasn't a religious Jew, or a real Christian. I looked into this for some time and I came to the conclusion unless I was able to look at his diary (The real one not the one the Times tried to pass off) I will never have any real proof of what he was. I personally think he was whatever he thought was the most politically expedient at the time..
In your search you might want to include the names Hitler, Hiedler, Hüttler, Hytler, and Hittler, and Schicklgruber.
His family tree may be more complicated them most people want to try to tackle with so many freaky spellings, and name changes, multiple marriages, and illegitimate births.

Hitler had Jewish ancestry, which was pretty common in Germany. One theory of why he hated jews is because he was rejected from a Jewish art school. Also, the Jews were a persecuted race long before Hitler. He just used racism in his campaign.

No the historian Brigitte Hamann in "Hitler's Vienna" methodically destroys the "Jewish" Hitler myth. Hitler had Czech and German ancestors but no Jews. In the city where his grandmother had the alleged affair with a Jewish employer there was only one Jew and he was 75-years old and did not employ in servants.

Well, he wasn't raised in a Jewish household, so do you believe that having some "Jewish blood" modifies his behavior? What does it matter - he took the xenophobia of the German people and used it to destroy Jews, Catholics, gypsies, and Russians to make way for his self designated super race that was supposed to populate points east.

Actually Hitler was a vegetarian, never cheated on wife or girlfriends, cared for animals and was a decorated war hero.
It's always those you least expect.

yeah, and a vegetarian, never cheated on his wife, a devoted father, never smoked or drank alcohol, and believed that the demise of humanity was a poor work ethic.
