Yes it is...Your bowels are trying to emtpy themselves for the upcoming event. That is why people say that Caster Oil induces labour. I would say within a few days. Make sure that you tell your doctor what is going on.

I started to loose my mucus plug almost one month before I had my last son. 4 weeks before my due date, so that's normal that you started loosing your plug. The cramps are normal to in your legs, that's your joints loosening up to prepare for birth, it may even get hard to walk at times. The diarrhea is not a sign of labor, but can be dangerous if your are not kept hydrated. I really do think you should make a call to your doctor to just to get checked out. You will have tons of energy before the baby is born, you should be going through your nesting stage right now, so feeling gloom is not normal, you may be coming down with something. Make the call, give yourself piece of mind. Good luck.

It can be, call your md. Most will let you come in and they can check you to be sure. With my 2nd, I had NO labor pains. I just "didn't feel right" and had a lot of mucus. I called they had me come in, about 5 minutes away from the hospital I got the urge to push, she was born 32 minutes after walking into the hospital.

YES it may be a signal of work! I've heard of many pregnant ladies having diarrhea earlier than going into hard work. It's rather typical throughout early being pregnant and on the finish of being pregnant.

It could be. You should call for a consult. It doesn't mean they'll let you come in though. Most of the time, they wait for contractions to allow you to come in.
Your bowels are clearing out and your mucus plug is exiting to prepare for the birth. So you're close!
Congratulations!

I had diarrea for two days before I went into labor... I guess its just a way to clean you body out so you dont have "an accident" on the baby.
