I help answer some questions that have to do with freezing and I don't know why they are freezing. Mine freezes 6 times so far and it is a Nano....whats up with that???? It is when I play it. Is it because I switch the songs to fast and it can't load and it freaks out or is it the songs???? Can you give me a hand with this??

I have an Ipod Video that is a replacement for the original one I received, because it froze up and none of the stuff they say to do worked. I sent it into the warranty center for them to fix and they ended up having to send me a whole new one.

You might want to call Apple's customer care, if you still have warranty on it, because they might be able to fix or replace it. Just make sure you BACK UP YOUR MUSIC. I lost all my purchases because of this.

NOTE: When they sent back my replacement, DHL lost it (the box arrived to their depot "open and empty"). I had to fight with Apple for about a 2 weeks to get my replacement, well... replaced. They have lousy customer service, so make sure you continue to call and chase them to get your Ipod fixed/ replaced - it's a pain, but they're also expensive, so it's probably worth it!

Did you happen to put music on it that you downloaded from sites such as limewire,kazaa...etc? If so you might of put a virus on it. I had a Ipod Nano once but got stolen when I was in Mexico..I now have a Ipod Video and it plays great.

It is an Ipod, what did you expect ? All of them freeze. Some freeze much more than others. You can be lucky, or unlucky.
