I think so, because there are dormant organs in human body which were designed to do so.
For example, there is a biological clock which regulates the growth, ageing and secondary sexual characteristics.
There is an organ in brain which was supposed to sense the magnetic field of earth, similar to that used by migrating animals and birds to find their way.
In nose there is organ to sense pharamones, which we discovered only lately, and found that it works.
There are some people who have extra sensory perceptions, which may sound strange, but has been experimentally proved so.
Apart from the above the process of evolution also makes change in human beings, similar to sharks which developed some more sensory powers like sensing of electric field, hearing of ultra sonic sounds etc.

Who knows, our future generations may develop new sensory system or revive the lost ones ????????
