Thanks REDWine for participating although we havce different ideas in life , but i respect different opinions, no i didn't lose my temper on contrary i laughed a lot when she typed to me in caps "LOOSER", i didn't call her so although i am powerful enough to do, and i don't care about thumbs down , as i got used to that granted to religion and spirtuality room :), but what annoyed me that she gave all thumbs down to make herself look like the smart among us!
she is not a teen like dodo, she is graduated and about to marry as i see !
thank u all for concerning thumbs up to u even if ur opinion goes against mine!

Most of the trolls who frequented the news message boards before Yahoo got rid of them are trolling here now, under different names.
Using "looser" instead of "loser" is classic troll. All the other trolls are laughing at the person (you) who gets sucked in giving answers to fake questions. If you keep your eye out for things like this, you will soon catch on and know who to ignore. Or who to play with - some people like to play their games with them.

Frankly I don't care. I try to select questions that I consider genuine and within my realm or experience. Receiving a hand full of thumbs up or down is not the reason I am here.
I suppose it could be considered rude but there are a lot of children on this site and I think they range in age from 7 to 77 years old. They are best ignored.
I honestly find the late teens and early 20's folks who know EVERYTHING to be the most irritating. The attitude of, "never been there, never done that but I still know everything about it" is the apex of arrogance.

Isadora you have a great sense of humour and brighten up everyone's day, including mine.
Please don't loose it over some creep.
I properly should be the last to give advise on that. As I admit I felt pretty insulted by the cheating accusations made against me by an idiot who knows who he is,or does he?
After all what effect do thumbs down have on the outcome, none.
I just answered a Q were the answer before me had 2 .
I couldn't see anyway that it was an inappropriate or stupid answer. Isn't that the premise for a thumbs down?
I am getting used to them, but have to admit I often wonder why I deserved it.
You are our only bright light since Ismaily went.
Now if I ever find out who is responsible for that nasty bit of work.
I WILL give them thumbs down even if their answer is a Pulitzer winner.
As you say it is usually pretty easy to work out who the ones addicted to thumbs down are.
Have you notice that most of the big thumbs and big mouths never have a contact address.
How brave!
Just keep turning out your little inspirations.
At least no one can do a "cut and paste" or flog their business to your questions!
addit: I am so tempted to ask you for that list,
but ........................maybe ignorance is bliss. she can thumbs down me, till the cows come home. An Australian saying!

Isadora ... Take it easy it seems that u are a very well educated person . honey Dont give the chance to anyone to make you lose you temper .. it happened to me when someone posted - infront of everyone - and without even abusing her that i answer her questions n a certain way becouse am the one with complications !! ofcourse i didnt answer with same language bcouse the family i came from and the schools i ve been to didnt teach me to do so ... untill now whenevr i appear her friends thupm me down , ignore my questions and my question get deleted ! a week ago i found an answer directed to me in same language, i just ignore this rubbish.. listen we meet different mentalities here. there are some people who came to play wz picking no best answer , thumping down , gaming for points , insulting the answerer who's answer they dont like or even reporting whatever they dont like . you need to be more cool and exposed to life which will teach u how to handle such people and situations.
Cheer up
Best of luck

first thing you have to practice in Y/A is to disregard the thumbs down thing, it's not indicative (except in some clear cases, like saying something really stupid or giving an irrelevant answer or offending) other than that, it's just people who don't agree with your thoughts, so they don't agree with differences in general.
Bottom line be cool and i am glad you're here.
and i like "lil southern girl" post too.

I've noticed that, too, and have no earthly idea why someone would do that.... some kind of power trip maybe??? It's not like they have anything to gain by such rude behavior.
