NO diet and exercise lectures, please - I am doing both already, and am leading a healthy lifestyle, but in the meanwhile I need to fit into my clothes!

Does anyone know of a good, reasonably priced brand corset that would help?

i got a pair of control knickers from marks and spencers they are really good get a size smaller than what you are,you can buy these from most places in the high street and feel bit better than corsets that hold you in as these look like you have no shape or fiqure to you,if you really want a corset type thing m and s again do these so do debenhams, contessa.xx

Of course it will, but I'd advise against going for cheap. Instead go for comfortable. Find a shop in your area that sells bras and call and ask if they have corsets(best place to look) and go in to try on different ones to get something that's comfortable for you and gives you the desired results.

I don't know that you need a corset. But there are a number of shapers available. Look at you local "underwear" store. They have some that are very comfortable and you just put on like underwear

It will help you look slimmer instantly, and it will help shrink your waist if worn religiously.

I just read something on an 80 year old lady who had a 10 inch waist from wearing a corset her whole life, I wish I could remember where.

Spanx!! You can buy them at a dept store. It's not really a corset, but it will suck you in, in all the right places! They run about $30-$50

Get yourself some tummy control pants/knickers like Bridget Jones. If you're not setting out to get lucky on the particular evening you wear them, then they're perfect!!

M&S do great ones, and any department store!! They are also great for wearing under dresses as you get a lovely sihouette!!

a corset will look great but don't use it often or for along time because it is bad for your stomach
