The first time I met him I knew there was a connection. It was after I got to know him better that I knew I loved him. We are getting married later this year.

I was a very insecure person. I always used to worry about how I looked, how my hair should be done, how much make-up to wear. I always worried that whatever I was doing wasn't good enough for everyone. Then I met my boyfriend. After dating him for a few months, I slowly realized that I wasn't worrying about that kind of stuff anymore! I did my hair and make-up how I wanted to and did the things that made ME happy. Chris gave me the confidence to do all of that. To know that there is only one person in this world that can make my life into what I want it to be and that is me. No other guy has EVER made me feel that way. I knew I had to love him because he "set me free" so to speak. And not only that, but it just feels right to be in his arms and around him. And when he says "I love you" back to me, it sounds like that sentence was put together for him and I only.

This is just my personal experience, though. I learned too that you cannot go off of how other people fell in love, because it is SOOO different for everyone. When it happens, you WILL know. Ya can't miss it! I hope my imput has helped you out.

The first 30 xs I thought I was in love! I wasn't. I knew I was in love when silent moments in the car were ok. Watching her struggle through pregnancy, delivering our first, then our second. Truely missing her when I traveled. Knowing when she was laying next to me at night. A thoughtful gift, hug, kiss, picking up after me, watching our children when I was too tired. Thats love!

I knew that i loved my man that i was going to marry about 2 weeks after i first met him and i knew that he was the one for my life and the one i was going to marry. My heart told me so as well. To this day going on 9 years later i still love him and he STILL is the man for me and my life and we are married now for going on 8 years and it is just getting better and stronger each day and year that we are together. Sometimes you just know... We are in it for a lifetime! He also knew about the same time that he loved me as well and that i was the right one for him and his life too. It was mutual for us and went both ways.

We were alone at his parents house. They had gone out of town and left him at home. We were watching tv and started making out. He suggested we move to the bedroom for more room. He started to try and take my clothes off. I stopped him because I wasn't ready to go that far. He didn't fight me for it or get mad because I wouldn't do it. I looked up at him and told him I loved him for the first time and he said it back. And then we went back to the couch to watch tv. I knew after that when he still wanted to be with me and didn't care that I didn't want to have sex with him yet that I loved him. No other guy would have came back after that. It's happened to me too many times.

On our second date, I was looking into his eyes, and something hit me, and I said who are you? and I asked him how did he end up single after all these years of along term marriage, and especially after the kids were all grown up. I started to hear his stories, and I could not believe my ears. I said 'we are two people that needed to meet', destiny, fate, call it what you will, but I knew right away he was one. The one that had been missing my whole life, as I was for him. It has been pure magic and heaven since that first day.

We were in the car on a date, it was summertime, and we drove past this water tower that had sprung a leak, and decided to get out and play in the water. We were acting like kids in a sprinkler and he just grabbed me and kissed me all of a sudden.

We've been married 16 years now! Thanks for making me remember!

CHEERS!
