I have been told to try a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to deal with heartburn. They tell me that the effects are almost immediate with no harmful side effects.

My wife tried it this week and concurs. I haven't needed it yet, but the way this week is shaping up, it could be on the "menu" later!

Not as much as Cranberry juice.

"A new study finds that Cranberry juice can lower the risk of heart disease for people with high cholesterol, and provide antioxidant benefits."
"Cranberry has long been linked to helping defeat urinary tract infections, and recent research is beginning to bear this out."

NOTE: The best cranberry juice should be 100% juice with no preservatives, artificial flavors, or artificial colors. Quite often you will find that many brands of cranberry juice are in fact only 30% juice, and not all of it cranberry, with the remainder of the beverage made from sweeteners and water.

taking a teaspoon for heartburn or indigestion works, and if you get heartburn alot take it before you eat. You can also get them in pill form so you dont have to taste it.

Also when you get a sore throat if you gargle it every 2-3 hours your sore throat is sure to be gone within a day or so!
