Download and install "McAfee site advisor"( freeware).,It can ensure you whether your site is trustworthy or not by color change (good, if it is green and red if it is fraud)or by ballon messege also. Using Credit card in internet shopping is safe if you are sure that your system is free of
spywares,trojans,bankers cookies and the website with you are transacting is trustworthy.

It all depends on the site you are using. If you find a site that may or may not been safe just check the internet. If someone gets ripped off on the net you can make sure that they will post it somewhere...or make a site about it.

click on the lock at the bottom of the browser and check the certificate authority, do some research on ca's and you will know which ones to trust, verisign is a highly used ca.

Not very safe, I would think, because there are many fraud sites around and viruses unknowingly installed to steal your information

avoid it you dont know who are giving info to..send a money order.If they object cancel the order
