Moral stresses the right and wrong of personal behavior. Ethics stress an idealistic mode of behavior.
For example: You can have business ethics, personal ethic, an ethical code of behavior.
A person's moral code is concerned chiefly with how they behave in all situations, especially sexual ones.

Ethics are those things that we deal with in our daily lifes. Ethics are more money choices and business decisons than anything else. That's why when you see or hear someone declaring that their ethics are better than anyone else, you know that they aren't talking anything less than business.
For instance going to the store putchasing items and the woman gives you a profit in the change department. Does your ethics say you will say, "Uh Lady you've given me to much change here." Or does your ethics say to yourself, "Dumb broad, I just made a profit."
Ethics in any business transaction where there is a wrong or right answer than benfits or takes away from others.
Morals are the definting factor of who we are.
They are much like ethics but regarded on a high plane. That's because morales relate to personal choices while ethics most often do not.
Is it morally right to have sex with a 15 year old when you are a 30 year old man? Or vice versa.
Is it morally right to sleep around when you have a crippling illness that can be passed on through sex?
Is it morally right for you to have an affair on the side while still in the same bed and house with your wife?
Is it morally right for you to have an abortion?
Is it morally right for you to ........................
You surely get the picture. While we use both in our way of lifes. They are really 2 seperate issues, even though the line to them and between them is very thin.

The dictionary defines morals as "principles of right and wrong conduct."
Ethics are defined as a "system of morally correct conduct."
The difference between ethics and morals can seem somewhat arbitrary to many, but there is a basic, albeit subtle, difference. Morals define personal character, while ethics stress a social system in which those morals are applied. In other words, ethics point to standards or codes of behavior expected by the group to which the individual belongs. This could be national ethics, social ethics, company ethics, professional ethics, or even family ethics. So while a person’s moral code is usually unchanging, the ethics he or she practices can be other-dependent.

Morals and the expression, “moral values” are generally associated with a personal view of values. Personal morals tend to reflect beliefs relating to sex, drinking, gambling, etc. They can reflect the influence of religion, culture, family and friends.
Ethics is concerned with how a moral person should behave. Ethical values are beliefs concerning what is morally right and proper as opposed to what is simply correct or effective.
Hope this helps.

morals deal with personal values and virtues. we are taught morals from our parents, and that is the more of learning from right or wrong.
ethics deal more with the law/business like rules or mantras, but it's a right or wrong of society. for example, bioethics deal with wether genetic cloning would do society good or bad and will it break any laws of nature or of our community. you're not taught ethics, it's like a protocol to abide by.
