Why are African American mens always on the news?

I don't know if it's me but every other time I turn on the news, they talk about the weather and traffic but when they get to the crimes I always see a African American man in hand-cuffs. Yeah I know they make mistakes but I know alot of other different kind of people in different races make mistakes too, but I always see black mens the one always making the news and usually it's not their fault. Yesterday on the news I saw a (white man) police officer bother a teenage African American boy. The young boy didn't do anything wrong he was talking to his friends sitting on the ground at the park. The police went up to him and told him to get his black a** up. The boy didn't get up and if it was me I wouldn't get up to someone saying something so nasty to me, I would be shock. So the police said it the second time and finally the boy got up and the police push him down back on the ground. I don't get it why are Black mens are always targeted. Why are they on the news being harrass?

I would say that if you looked at the crime rate in the United States a big proportion is caused by blacks. Now if you don't believe that just check out on TV those sites that deal with prisons.

To answer the question about be harass as black maybe the people who get into trouble are the people who stand out the most in our society. This not being the color of there skin but by the sitistics that are set forth in our pennal institutions.

There can be no answer to why a police officer would act sometimes like they do but I bet they really haft to hold back themselves from being over the top with there personal fellings.

They are barely on the news. Everyday ******* males commit horrible crimes, many of them hate crimes. Then the media either doesn't report it or doesn't give out physical description (if they are wanted). If they are caught, no photograph. Not so with whites. If a white commits a horrible or hate crime -watch out! His name will be put up in lights, a full biography, and daily and international news for a month.

The entertainment industry is even worse. There is NEVER a black criminal in the movie industry. They are always hero's and always have tidbits of ghetto wisdom. Directors always throw in a black dr or scientist even though there are very few of them. Prison scenes are always all white or majority white and they are always racist skinheads. The KKK hasn't killed in years yet in every film that takes place in the south has in-breds and KKK members YET we never see or hear about the minutely killings by the Blood, Crips and other black gangs.

You people have special rights and enough is enough. It is time for the truth to be let out of the box!

I don't know. It has always happened and probably always will. Messed up but it shows you how america has really not come as far as most think. A young white guy killd his brother because he got more attention than him. They didn't broadcast that on the news as much as ray ray who shot the white store clerk over $30. Both are equally wrong and idiotic but for some reason black men are labeled more than white men to do bad things. Good question though.

Well maybe there are no accidents. There is probably a very good reason that u ended up in this category by mistake. It may be an opportunity for u to learn about the treatment that gays like my brother endure from people who hate and are prejudice...

I read in the Washington Post Express a little while ago that the crimes of black men are FOUR TIMES more likely to be publicized than the crimes of whites. Black men also typically received harsher punishment than white men for committing similar crimes.

lets just say white people have cold hearts. its true. anytime i am stopped by a hispanic cop or black cop for some mundane traffic violation like doing a u turn when the streets are not even busy. i tell em am sorry and they let me go. anytime its a white cop, you can just see the blood vessels on the side of their neck pulsating with excitement like yeahhhh lemme make someones life miserble today. and they give me a ticket. medical research has shown that melanin in the brain makes people very warm and sweet which lots of white people lack so they are inherently a race full of hate. they need an avenue for their hate so they pick on someone different. and in cities were there are no black people, they pick on their fellow whites. its DNA thang.

In answer to your question, there is no answer. In Australia, I ask 'Why do I always seen Aboriginals on the television'? I guess the answer could be, because they are a majority group, always targeted.
