Do I bring anything with me? The interview is going to be held in a pea size room with a couple chairs, no computer so powerpoint is out of the question. What do I do?!?

First of all....RESEARCH. Try to find information on the company. Companies really like to know that you have done your homework. They'll ask if you know anything about them, and this will give you the opportunity to show you have already started putting forth effort. But don't brown-nose. Keep it discreet. By researching, you can find more specific areas where you can contribute. This lets them know you will be an asset! Don't forget a copy of your resume. You may have already sent one, but it looks good if you take another, so they can have all the information right in front of them. Good Luck, and stay calm!

make sure you have read their annual report and are familiar with their operations. identify challenges they may be facing and come up with possible strategies you would suggest IF they asked you.

come up with questions, it shows an interest, possibly bring up something you came across while looking them up on the web... a new innovation they have or new program, ask if there is any chance you may be working with an aspect of this "new initiative", it shows you have looked at them and are keen without coming right out and saying it. they also like thorough 'details' people.

if you haven't already discused salary, have a figure in mind in case they ask you. don't undervalue yourself, but obviously don't price yourself out of the market.

be ready with a list of strengths and weaknesses if they haven't already asked you. if you do have to give them a weakness, qualify it with "but i am a fast learner and enjoy challenges" or something similar.

head up, be confident, bring a pen and paper to take notes even if you won't need to, don't freeze, use your hands when you speak, and look them in the eye.
