But now this file is like stuck to my desktop. No matter how many times i delete the file + link, it will reappear again. But if i copy it to somewhere else and delete, it can be delete.

Will this be a virus?
I bought this laptop from school, therefore if i format the whole laptop again then the files my school installed will be all gone. What should i do?

Delete the bookmark/favourite link, and before rebooting save all the new favourites in a new bookmark file.. Delete everything and reboot. Then add your new bookmarks/favourites.. If it didn't work then uninstall and install internet explorer again with the new bookmarks/favourites (The one exluding the link you don't want)..

Hope this helps & good luck,

Make sure that when you delete the links and you don't want them to reappear that you delete them from these paths:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Favorites
C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Favorites

You'll need to ensure that you have hidden files & folders visible to see these 2 directories (TOOLS/FOLDER OPTIONS - View Tab - Hidden Files and Folders)
