What does the abbreviation "Par." mean in a house plan?

What does the abbreviation "Par." mean in a house plan?

I'm looking at home plans and I don't know what some of the abbreviations mean. What is Par.? It is the label of a room in some plans, and it seems to be a different type of room in every one. Can anyone help me out here?

Maybe it means parlor or it could be an abreviation for a partition(room divider)

It could be a partition wall, meaning a wall that in some cases does not go all the way to the ceiling. Could it be Pan? which could stand for pantry?
