I was just looking up some resolved questions on SATs, and someone said that calculators And DICTIONARIES are allowed? Is that true? That guy must have been a PSYCHO!
Another thing, someone who took the SAT II for French, how hard is it? What type of things from which levels does it cover?

Whoever told you dictionaries are allowed on the SAT was clearly wrong. Most calculators, however, are allowed (anything from a four-function to a graphing calculator). I've heard that the SAT II for French is hard (I don't take French, but most of my friends do). Your best bet is to go to collegeboard.com and see how people generally do (ie what's the average score). It should also mention what the test covers. I'd also suggest a review book... REA and Princeton Review are two kinds that have really helped me for all of my SATIIs.

dictionaries definitely aren't allowed.
calculators are allowed, but some types are prohibited, so make sure the type of calculator you have is ok.
