There is no such belief in Hinduism. Eagles will not come down so low and touch a man's head. I you have heard any such thing please inform as an additional information to your question so that all can be aware of it. Eagles circle over the sky when ever they see a dead animal. They have a very sharp eye and they will find from a very height if any dead is lying on the ground. There is no bad omen on this also. -

I know a lot about the Hindu religion, but I've never heard of anyhting like that. It could be goodluck if you remember that Garuda is a bird that Vishnu rides on. In other words, a blessing from Vishnu.

no there is nothing like that in the hindu religion as i know a LOT about the religion...it is considered as a bad omen only when the eagle cries<>
but take my opinion DONT WASTE LIFE IN THESE THINGS
BELIEVE IN JUST ONE SUPREME GOD :P>>
