Yawn. Do Republicans have any other items of interest for the upcoming election cycle?

Interesting, isn't it? Taxes out the wazoo will be forthcoming to pay for this war. Smaller government? Would that be the government that is now empowered to come and arrest me simply because Bush doesn't like my politics? As for strong defense... give me a break. Strong OFFENSE, maybe. But our defense is pretty lacking.

Those items would certainly make the country better.
The Dems will have their usual laundry list of silliness that they will not even pretend to deal with should they regain the house/senate.
Do you not think the three items you listed are worthwhile?
I sure do!
On the other hand, if the Dems get back in, can we look forward to endless 'got'cha' politics as usual...hearings, manufactured 'scandals', investigations, and of course the old favorite 'let's destroy whoever keeps kicking our butts - we got Gingrich, we're still after Rove...who shall we persecute next?'
We all know who the Terrorists want to win don't we?
That should be the Dems slogan in 2008...'Al Queda loves us - you should too!'

Repbulicans do NOT support smaller government. They never have. They just "borrow and spend" to pay for the bloated federal gov't they created.

Well...honestly...what CAN they say? They can't talk about their environmental stand...cause that seems to be too liberal for them. And they certainly can't speak about healthcare, cause that would just be socialist. And education? Well, they think thats just fine. So what else can they say?
