first off im about to start guild wars in the next mounth or so and i want to know a few questions.

1. when you form a party and you go outside to do a quest but one or two of your part log out, what happens? can you still log in and be in the same place or does your party need to wait for u to come back on to continue the journey?

2. will it be hard for me when i start out to find somebody else the same level as me and to go out on an easy quest?

3. what is the best prefession to strat out with on the game?

4. how long would it take to get to level 20 if i spent about roughly 12 hours a week on the game.

5. and finaly will i enjoy the game even though i am starting two years later?

They are gone, and cannot rejoin you. If one of them loses connectivity temporarily, then they CAN come back. But if they actually leave, then that person cannot rejoin.

No. If you follow the storyline quests, you will go from city to city with a lot of other people who are doing the same thing. So you will almost always find others in those places who are the same level, with teh same quests to do.

They are pretty much equally good; pick one that sounds interesting to you. I know that's not much help, but I've played every class from newbie to veteran, and there is no "best" class. Remember you'll get groups more easily if you play a monk =)

Four weeks.

Yes. The game's been improved and balanced in that time, and there are still lots of new players coming in, and lots of veteran players starting new characters.

If I may say so myself skip Guild Wars...there are better games. Granted the really good ones cost 15$/month. Guild Wars is all instanced...meaning the only time you will see anyone other then your group is in town. Once you leave town the whole place is just for you....the good thing about games is you find people(friends) while doing the quest solo. I played Guild Wars for about a month or so but got so bored doing everything solo so I quit.
