yeah it was absolutely ridiculous...and he thinks he is like the best thing going....everytime the judges have made negative comments about him in the past he doesnt listen....im glad simon has given up on him!

I think people are voting for him to make a mockery of the show!
Sanjaya Malakar, 17, is from Federal Way, WA. He auditioned in Seattle with his sister, who was eliminated at the Hollywood stage of the competition. Sanjaya says he started singing as a little boy and had formal singing training.
Sanjaya, who spent four years performing with the Hawaii Children Theater, claims he is a shy person and says "I'm scared that I'll never be able to walk into a supermarket without someone recognizing me." His music idol is Stevie Wonder.

it was hilarious!! I seriously think Sanjaya doesn't care anymore...he knows hes not the best so now he's screwing around to keep his 15 min. I don't think he thinks hes the best like some others have said he is just making the best of it.
I loved what Simon said he really is funny.

He gets exponentially worse singing AND fashion-wise each week. Now he seems to also be getting an attitude, like "ooh, look at me! I rock!" Which, of course, he does not. If there's any justice in this world, he'll be gone tonight. This has got to stop! At first it was funny but now it's just sad.
