just remember that this is your career and future you are talking about and that you have to get it no matter what coz you deserve it.im glad that you have such confidence in yourself and a little fear is not harmful at all. Remeber you deserve this and you have worked hard for it so go and get it.

Its always the job that you want badly that you get the most nervous about!!!I can relate to this situation all to well and for a while thought that I was the only person who exhibited the behaviour that you described. Its a good start to be prepared and cover all possible questions that can come up starting from the hr to the technical aspects of the job . Maybe you can do a role play mock interview with a friend. I got a friend who was very good at interviews , confided my problem (nervousness and my inability to focus )and asked him to help me. He gave me some handy tips and acted as a mock interviewer. When I felt like idling away my friend was stern and ensured that we covered all of the material and gave me some handy pointers. For me having a friend who worked with me forced me to do the work required. For the future....when you dont feel so pressured maybe you can make a list of interview questions (there are lots on the net) and come up with model answers as a general guide. This may take some pressure off having to prepare from scratch when the next dream job opportunity arises. Good luck and all the best!!

Find out exactly whats causeing the nervousness. Is it about meeting someone new and then trying to sell yourself to that person? pinpoint which part of the interveiw thats causeing you to stress then work thatpart out. maybe try asking someone you trust to play the part of interviewer then when in the room visulaize that person as being there.
