Rod C: You must think before you type or at least back up your opinions with examples of aggression. I want opinions based on facts not government propaganda.

I'm looking for worldwide aggressors, not countries that bicker and kill their like minded neighbours.

I am only guessing here about where you are coming from, but yes, viewed from afar, it would appear that the US and the UK are the aggressors. However, apart from the fact that there are probably things going on behind the scenes that we are not aware of, I think that sometimes you have to appear like the aggressor in order to protect your own long term security interests. It is simply too dangerous to allow nuclear weapons to get into the hands of unstable governments with a wholly different philosophy on life, and death.

Given that context, I would say, N. Korea, Iran, US, UK. I don't know what to say about Iraq, because I never understood why it was the next target in the war on terror, which I wholly support. Because of its past aggression, and the fact that it is factionalised, (it needed a Saddam to keep it under control) and used to have weapons of mass destruction, and may have shipped some to Syria in recent times, it has to be in the mix ahead of the US and UK.

I appreciate that if you rank the US & UK pari passau with the other nations, then you will not agree with my ranking. However, I don't rank them pari passau.

Recently, I would say Iran and possibly the United Kingdom. The United States was, but I think the current administration was behind that and the people are trying to put a stop to it. Iraq is more aggressive than any within there own border due to civil war. But on a global scale, and from the information I've received (I don't know the credibility of the news because I live in the U.S.) I'd say Iran. North Korea chilled after the sanctions, which in my opinion were needed just as much as inhumane. What can do though?

All of the above are interlinked and have all been guilty of aggressive tactics over the years. The whole reason most nation states are still here today is through some form of agrression or other and therefore all of them are aggressive in their own way

Well you can't bring history into it because that just makes the question too big. Looking at the stiuation right now there are only two aggressors in your list UK and USA (I'm from the UK).

All of the nations on your list have shown aggressive tendencies. However the clear leader would be the one that has invaded over 50 sovereign territories since the end of WW II, wouldn't you say ?

Please forgive me if I'm wrong but i cant help but think that this question is a leading question and you are trying to lead us to the answer that the US and UK are the greatest villains of the peace.

All of them. A web of sneakiness, deceit, aggression and so on. Sometimes I think it would be better to have no borders at all to remove this silly game from the lives of ordinary people.
