Though Saurav Ganguly has no chance to become captain of Indian Team, even if he is made as Captain no miracle can be expected in India's fortune in cricket unless players learn to play with proper application, dedication, integrity, determination and killer instincts.

A captain has to take all the players with him. Before the World Cup I was all for Ganguly. But now, it seems that he is ready for a 'tit-for-tat' aganist Rahul, Sachin, and Greg. How is it that all of a sudden he lost all fluency in the WC 2007?. Everyone has his views, and I think that most play for money alone, and at any cost want to be a part of the squad.
As for youngsters, Raina, RP Singh, Sreesanth were eulogised in no uncertain terms. What happened all of a sudden? What for was Pathan selected? Now he should invite Rahul to a wrestling match.
Yuvraj seems a better choice, presently,for the captain of the Indian team.

I dont think Sourav should be made captain now.
Whatever happened to Saurav was not good and decent, but by repeating it with Rahul Dravid, we are just doing what we did to Saurav.
It will only make Dravid lose his self confidence.
Of course Greg should be sacked. Since he has joined the team, he has been the most speculated coach ever. He has not done much good to the team, but in my view, Dravid should remain as captain. He should just try and be more aggressive.
Ganguly should be the captain only when Dravid is not free to play.

yes Saurav Ganguly must be the captain and Yuvraj must be
the vice captain. As dada has done a lot as a captain & he is
a good decision maker in the field and having a remarkaable
ability to lead the team.

Dada cannot be made the captain. I feel the way he played the WC it is clear he is not at all concerned about whether the team wins or not. He just wanted to clear his name out of any controversy. He stayed there. Nevr took any singles . Was not timing the balls perfectly.
He should never be made the captain.

No No. DADA shud RETIRE from cricket now voluntarily. This is the perfect time. He has lots of fear facing bowling of kid bowlers Malachee Jones of Bermuda who is just 17 yrs old (half the age of Ganguly). Just watch how he played against Bermuda consuming so many balls for such score. He was not clear with the game. I mean He forgot the game. No clarity in his approach. COWARD. He shud not think of Captaincy again even in his dreams. Ganguly just get out of the team and play lots of domestic cricket and become bold just like jayasuriya, hayden, Gibbs, ponting , gilchrist etc. Learn some techniques from these very very bold batsmen. and watch how they play cricket. They r the real fighters. U are NOT at all a FIGHTER. Just quit indian team for god's sake. Give chance to youngsters. Otherwise follow my suggestion and score lots of runs in every game u play with a good strike rate. DONT WASTE BALLS.

Saurav is definitely a better Captain than Dravid, NO doubt...but still Y R U depending on the same stories, Kapil Dev, Saurav all have completed their roles succesfully, now we have to look for future and an agressive youngster who can lead India in so many coming years.......

i think dada should be the captain now. he captaincy is much more better than dravid. yes..i am really upset of the indian defeat. you are right about rahul with creg. lets hope that the next match is successful and india wins several tournments like india and pakistan one day cricket. they are exciting.

When Saurav becomes a captain he is not able to play well as he comes under pressure n he takes too much tension so i think he is not suitable.

In my opinion neither 'Dada' nor any other member of the current team can continue in the team leave alone becoming captain.
