I think so... in some cases - especially if they don't make an excellent first impression. I don't like the name Ashley... although I don't hate anyone named Ashely... I just think people with the name Ashley are really annoying. Anna rubs me the wrong way too.

Yes some times and sometimes when they look like some one I don't like. I have bad felling about them event before I meet the person.

It goes as follows:
If I knew the "Jessica" or "Jamie" BEFORE I started to hate the "devious Jessica or Jamie" it wouldn't bother me too much.
If I knew the "devious Jessica or Jamie" before I met/knew the "nice Jessica or Jamie" I would have a slight issue w/them, but I'm sure once I got to know them I'd get over myself and be their friend.

It's mainly people I didn't like in school, now when I meet people through work etc with that name it reminds me of the person in school that I hated.

I think you ought to give him a chance...
It happens that most of these people are one of the best people in your whole life...

Oh, I forgot, I also can't stand Steves or Kristins!

This presented a real problem when naming our girl-child.
My husband wanted to name her after one of the sluts in his 12th grade class!

Not personally, but I have a friend who hates everyone named "Tom" and "Kathy". Poor girl, Tom apparently left her for Kathy.
