Tell me how you got on with your chosen course?

Was it an open degree or specialist subject?
Worth the effort, time and expense for a BA/ BSC?
Anything worth noting for a newcomer (tell all!)?

Kind regards,

Chap

I have a BA in Psychology and it is totally worthless unless you get a masters. Nursing would be one of the best fields to get into right now.

I have a BA degree and a Bachelors in appliecd science, I am an RN and I used to work in the OR which I enjoyed, but because I also have a BA, I decided to try something else and now I make a ton of money working for a pharmaceutical company as a drug rep. You only need a BA and some on the job training for this job no science degree is needed and not only do I make alot of money, but I basically work as often or as little as I want to work, the more I work, the more I make. Definitely go for it, you cannot get anywhere in this world without a college degree. Also, I have a couple of other friends who also have a BA and one writes short stories and she also writes for the Chicago Tribune, and the other one teaches. They both make alot of money too and they enjoy what they do. Go for it!!!

Well I've got a BA Hons in Theatre Practice - specialising in Costume Construction. I really enjoyed studying it, and I became a costumier after. Though in show biz - it's not what you know but who you know!
Anyway, just to confuse things, I've opted for a change of career, so the first degree helped me get back into uni - as it
a) helps on the qualifications side
b) show I have the commitment to last out the length of the course. (The amount of times I've heard people switch courses!!)
